I’ve always been interested

in the story behind the story.

Maybe I couldn’t help it.
being born on the island of Guernsey, far from the mainland.

I set sail from those shores as a teenager to find the bigger story—
or so my narrative goes.

After decades in international human rights, community development and adult learning, I trained as a coach some 17 years ago.

I now work with leaders and professionals at points of pressure, transition and growth.

I’m an ICF PCC coach, trained in Time to Think, DISC and Strengths. I work through coaching, facilitation, expressive writing and photo journaling.

Clients have included Clore Social Leadership, the British Council, FourthRev, Rethink, teams from Microsoft and clients from AWS amongst others, plus pro bono work with the NHS Leadership Academy and the Humanitarian Coaching Network.

I’m also a published creative writer and workshop leader.

Nicky’s coaching style is a wonderful combination of earthy pragmatism and
sparkling creativity. I found the magic of Nicky’s authentic voice, sharp intellect, and ethos to be remarkably valuable.

— Senior thought leader, MCC coach

Our Team’s Flourish Fridays coaching circle over the last 4 years is a real eye-opener into deeper thinking, reflections and insights with practical applications to elevate my energy and impact.

Guided by Nicky with amazing questions, Flourish Fridays is a great time investment in myself and is an essential part of my life.

—Senior team leader, global tech company

Nicky is a highly skilled coach in her element. She is a very energetically connected, non-telling, not advising mature coach. She allowed me to reflect on my own needs and to clarify what I see. I started speaking so much in images with Nicky. I was able to connect to my most truth. My heart spoke. I highly recommend Nicky
